Hector John YATES

Extended Description: Hector John YATES Private 40094, B. Coy, 12th Middlesex Regiment reported missing 26th September 1916 aged 24. Son of John Thomas & Elizabeth Timmis Yates of Moreton Farm, Astbury and brother of Hector John who survived the war but died later.

Commemorated on his parents' memorial at St Mary churchyard, Astbury, Cheshire and also on the Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France
