Henry James LOMAX. (memorial had Harry) Lance Sergeant 8569 2nd West Yorkshire Regiment.
Born 24 February 1890 at 57 Stratheden Street, Belfast to James and Mary Jane Lomax, nee Hobbs.
1901 residing with his mother and siblings at 156 Hillman Street, Belfast. 1911 his parents and siblings were at 24 Hibernia Street, Holywood. He was serving as corporal in the West Yorkshire Regiment at Sobraon Barracks, Circular Road, Colchester Garrison
Killed in action 19 December 1914. His father was granted a war gratuity 16 April 1915. His mother granted a war gratuity 11 July 1919
Commemorated on his parents’ headstone in Holywood Cemetery, Holywood, County Down.
