Born 1874. to George and Hannah Colledge, nee Bennett of Wingfield Road, Clay Cross. His father died in 1878. His mother remarried to George Pendleton. 1881 with his siblings, mother and stepfather George Pendleton at Bailey’s Square, Clay Cross. 1891 - 1901 with his siblings, mother and stepfather George Pendleton at Thanet Street, Clay Lane, Derbyshire, occupation aged 17 coal miner
1911 with his siblings, mother and stepfather at Thanet Street, Clay Cross, Derbyshire, occupation, roadman coal miner above ground.
Died 16th May 1921 aged 47.
At rest in Clay Cross Cemetery, Derbyshire.
