All commemorated on a Poppy Cross Memorial, at Werrington War Memorial, Staffordshire 2018

Harold HUGHES. Marine PLY/X109789, 48 Royal Marine Commando, Royal Marines. Born 1924 to Harold and Ada Hughes, of Hanley, Staffordshire. Killed in action at Walcheren landings on operation, Infatuate 1 November 1944 aged 20 years.
Commemorated on the Plymouth Naval Memorial, Devon.



Kenneth WILSON. It may be the following - Edward Kenneth WILSON. Private 3856566, 2nd The Loyal Regiment (North Lancashire). Born 1920 to Gertrude Louise Wilson, and stepson of Thomas Ridgway, of Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent. Died 20 July 1943 aged 23.
At rest in Kanchanaburi War Cemetery, Thailand.
