In memory of Henry George WALKER. Born 22nd September 1866 son of Augusta and George Walker, Merchant, 48 Strada Vescovo, Valletta, Malta. Lieutenant Colonel, 109th Infantry of the British Indian Army. Husband of Mary Rowena nee Hogge who he married 21 December 1892 at Jubbulpoere, Bengal, India. Taken suddenly to his rest at Aden 20 January 1914.
29 April 1842 he was an Ensign (2nd Lieutenant) and 31 December 1843, Lieutenant.

The KING has approved of the following promotions of officers of the Indian Army. Majors to be Lieutenant-Colonels.
Dated 7th November, 1911. Henry George Walker, Commandant, 109th Infantry

Augusta Ann WALKER. Born 18 December 1868 in Malta, spinster, died in Malta 8th January 1938 aged 70 years
