George SLATER

The memorial tells all. George transfered to the Labour Corps prior to his death as Private 643595. Son of Simeon and Elizabeth of the Bungalow, Hawthorn Street, Wilmslow, Cheshire. He joined to army along with his brother, Private 8646 James, Royal Welsh Fusiliers, he was killed on 1907.
