HIGGINS George. Lance Corporal, 1033, 1st/7th Royal Welch Fusiliers, died 15th November 1915 at Malta of enteric fever, (typhoid). Native of Leighton lived at Lower Leighton, Montgomeryshire, son of Edward and Mary (1901 census) of Coedy Cum, Castle Caereinion, Montgomeryshire. 1911 he was boarding at 17 Penllwyn Terrace Cwmfelinfach Ynysddu, Newport, South Wales, home of Roberts' family, occupation, coal navvy above ground, aged 24.

COOK Francis Ernest. Private, 824, 2nd Royal Fusiliers, (London Regiment).
Died at 3.a.m. the 15th November 1915 from enteric fever and pneumonia at St Andrews Hospital, Malta, which he contracted in the field at Gallipoli. Native of Willesden, lived at Kilburn and enlisted at Marylebone, London. He was the husband of Caroline Elizabeth who was granted a war gratuity on the 14th March 1916, revised on the 6th August 1919, now called Caroline Elizabeth Munday.

WHITING Edwin Joseph. Lance Corporal, 1482, 1/1st Hertfordshire Yeomanry. Died at St Elmo Hospital, Malta at 04. a m,14th November 1915, aged 26.
The son of (1911 census) Edwin Whiting, of 155 Leavesden Road, Watford, he was a railway clerk. His mother Alice Sarah died aged 45 in 1899. (Note the memorial has F J Whiting). His effects went to Edwin Whiting, carpenter.
