Born 8th November 1906 to Richard Henrey McKowen (Mckowin) and Florence Annie, nee Ingram who in 1911 were living at 5 Globe Road, Snakes Lane, Woodford Essex. In 1932 he married Florence Beatrice Billinghurst. He died 22nd December 1987 aged 81 at Kempsey, Worcestershire. His home address was 11 Squires Walk, Kempsey.
His birth surname was McKowen.
