Extended Description: Gunner 1709731, George Arthur THOMPSON. 5th Searchlight Regt, Royal Artillery, died in Thailand 19th June 1943 aged 31. Son of John Charles and Mary Louisa. Commemorated on his parents memorial at St Peter's churchyard, Fairfield, Derbyshire and is buried at Kanchanaburi War cemetery, Thailand
