GAGE Ezekiel Hugh M.C.

Extended Description
Ezekiel Hugh GAGE, Military Cross, Captain in the Royal Horse Artillery and elder son of Captain Stewart GAGE, Royal Dublin Fusiliers and Norah Lillian nee Grimshaw and grandson of General Gage who died 19th June 1931 aged 34. Awarded the MC in 1917 and he fought in the Great War. On the 2nd November he embarked at Liverpool on passenger ship, 'Empress of France' bound for Quebec Canada and he was an Army Officer. He lived with his mother at Galwally Park, Upper Ormeau Road, Belfast.

This memorial is on a family plot at Knockbreda Churchyard, Belfast, Northern Ireland. He may be buried on Rathlin Island, County Antrim.
