Extended Description: G009 ROBERT GEORGE HERBERT HOPWOOD. Acting Paymaster, Royal Navy on HMS Implacable. Born 29 March 1884, baptised 30 May 1884 at St Mark Church, Worsley, Lancashire. Son of Harold Raleigh and Cecilia Louisa Hopwood, nee Herbert who were residing at Roe Green, Worsley. Died in Royal Navy Hospital, Bighi, Malta from enteric fever 20th October 1905 aged 21 years. Wills and Admin, Ancestry - Robert George Herbert Hopwood of 3 Crumpsall Crescent, Cheetham Hill, Manchester died on date and place stated. His effects went to Harold Raleigh Hopwood, Clerk in Holy Orders.

At rest in and unnamed burial in Plot G grave 9 in Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta.
