...the straw boots were picked up from a deceased German who just returned from the Russian front.

I'd like to see him pedal a bike or drive a car wearing those.

As a fashion, I hope this'll never catch on...

Agreed dont look like the most practical bit of kit and defo not Gucci, but would probably stop your toes fallin off in the winter
