Frederick HENSON

Frederick HENSON. Private 3157, 2/5th Sherwood Foresters (Notts and Derby Regiment).
Born 1880 to Samuel and Hannah Henson, nee Dawson. Husband of Annie Maud Henson, nee Lindley of 45, Stanton Road, Ilkeston occupation, coal miner. Joined the 6th Reserve Battalion, Notts and Derby Regiment 26 October 1914. Previously served with 1st Volunteer Battalion, Sherwood Foresters. Did not serve overseas. Discharged from army being physically unfit for war service 20 December 1915 to his home at 28 Carr Street, Ilkeston. Died 1 January 1920 aged 40 years.

At rest in Park Cemetery, Ilkeston, Derbyshire.
