Extended Description: Frederick Harte MORTIMER DCM Company Sergeant Major No. 9439 "C" Coy. 1st/7th Bn. Sherwood Foresters (Notts and Derby Regiment)

Died 1 July 1916 aged 31 years

Son of Alfred William and Caroline Mortimer, of The Foresters, Orston Drive, Wollaton Park, husband of Eliza Mortimer, of 1, Cantab Terrace, Archer St., Nottingham.

Commemorated on the Thie[val Memorial, France and also on his brother's memorial at Nottingham General Cemetery, Nottinghamshire
