Frank DAWS. Rifleman 9120, 6th King’s Royal Rifle Corps, transferred to as Private 585593 Eastern Counties Labour Centre, Labour Corps. Born 1882 to Charles and Julian Daws, nee Doleman of Morley, Derbyshire, husband of Sarah Ann Jones. He was married 6 June 1908 at Morley parish church, Derbyshire as Frank Dawes. He was aged 26 years, Collier, she was aged 22, spinster, and a servant. 1911 residing with his wife and son, John Frank Mansfield Daws aged 2 years at 5 Andrew Avenue, Larklands, Ilkeston. Occupation, coalminer underground, timber worker. His widow remarried to Mr Trusswell and resided of 80, Wade Avenue, Larklands, Ilkeston. Died 6 August 1918 aged 36 years.
