Lieutenant Frank ATKINSON, 62nd Squadron (Royal Flying Corps) and Royal Air Force, died of wounds in Kassel Germany 10th July 1918 aged 19. He was the son of Enoch and Anna of Ferry Nab, Bowness, Windermere Cumbria and brother of Bob who also fell. He is commemorated on the memorial of his brother in Bowness Cemetery, Bowness on Windermere Cumbria and is at rest in Niederzwehren Cemetery, Hessen, Germany.
