Frances Ethel BRACE

Frances Ethel BRACE. Staff Nurse QAIMNSR.
Born 1886 Pembroke, Pembrokeshire, Wales to William and Jane Brace, nee Davies. 1891 residing with her parents and siblings at Beavers Hill, Jameston, Tamerton, Manorbier, Pembrokeshire, Wales. 1901 with her widowed father and sister, Frances at Great Honeyborough Farm, Neyland, Pembrokeshire. 1911 visiting the Codd family at Sundon Villa, Slade, Pembroke, Wales. Nurses training at Carmarthen Infirmary, joined to the QAIMNSR in 1916. Posted to a Field Hospital in Salonika, Greece. Contracted malaria and dysentery whilst tending the sick and wounded. Invalided to Malta and died in a hospital 21 September 1916 aged 30.

Wills and Admin, Ancestry -
Frances Brace of South Norton, Manorbier, Pembrokeshire, spinster died 26 February 1916. Her effects went to Thomas James Brace, farmer.

At rest in Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta in Plot XXIX Grave 2.
