Born 14 September 1902 at Epsom, Surrey to Robert George and Sarah Ellen Hunt,nee Astridge of Wandsworth, London. Enlisted 2 November 1929 on HMS Vernon (Wrestler) as Seaman J94381 civilian occupation, sawyer. Stationed on HMS St Angelo 15 November 1939 to his death. Husband of Violet May Hunt. Died 30th April 1941 aged 38 years as the result of enemy action.
His father who was born 1 April 1882 at Islington, London. Enlisted aged 32 years into the Royal Air Force 14 February 1915 as Corporal Mechanic 203298. His next of kin was his wife.

Violet May HUNT nee Hunt, of Senglea, wife of Leslie George Hunt. Died 2nd May 1941 aged 40 years. They were married in 1925 in the registration district of Portsmouth. Please note, both have the same surname prior to marriage.
Richard HUNT. Son of Leslie George Hunt, of Senglea. Died 2nd May 1941 aged 14 years. He was born in 1926 in the Registration District of Hambledon, Surrey. Mother's maiden name, Hunt.

F030 JAMES DITCHFIELD. Petty Officer Stoker P/KX83101 Royal Navy on HMS Orion. Born 25 August 1913 at Blackburn, Lancashire to William and Mary Jane Ditchfield, nee Bury of Blackburn, Lancashire. Died in Malta 7th May 1943 aged 30 years of shock from multiple injuries. He fell into a bomb hole on the side of a dry dock in Malta. He was not on duty.

F030 EBENEZER HAY, Chief Motor Mechanic, P/MX78537 Royal Navy on H.M. Motor Torpedo Boat 762 July 1913 at Hamilton, Lanarkshire to Ebenezer P. and Isabella S. Hay, of Hamilton, Lanarkshire. Died in 45 General Hospital, Pembroke Garrison, Malta 30th May 1943 aged 29 years from burns to face, hands and legs as the result of an explosion in the engine room of his ship.
