Born 26 March 1914 at Romiley, Cheshire to Claude Evelyn and Mary Agnes Brown, nee Hetherington Husband of Edna Brown, nee Pickford of Cheadle, Cheshire. 1939 residing with his wife at 10 Marsden Road Romiley, Cheshire, occupation textile designer. His wife remarried after his death to Mr Palmer. Died 22nd March 1942 aged 27 years from injuries as the result of enemy bombing to the ship in Valletta Harbour, Malta.
