Edward WEIR

Edward McLarnon WEIR. Private D/24547 6th Royal Ulster Rifles. Born 3 September 1888 to Robert and Margaret Weir, nee McLarnon. of 17 Club Row, Castlereagh, County Down. 1901 residing with his parents at 123 Church Street, East Belfast. 1911 Serving with the 1st Royal Irish Rifles in Burma. Husband of Agnes. No marriage record was found for him the irish Genealogy.ie web site. On the FreeBMD (England) there is a reference to an Edward and Agnes Graig marrying in 1919 in the registration district of Barrow in Furness. His last place of residence was recorded as 2 Earl Haig Park, Belfast. Died at U.V.F Hospital, Upper Galwally, Belfast 14 January 1947 age 57.
