Douglas Ronald Noel TOOTH. Leading Aircraftman (Pilot U/T) 905289, Royal Air Force (VR). of 6 Flying Training School at RAF Little Rissington. Born 1911 at Hertfordshire to Adolphus Tooth and of Margaret Maria Tooth, nee Cole of Torquay, Devon. M.I.A.A. Died 3 November 1940 aged 38.

At rest in St Peter Churchyard, Little Rissington, Gloucestershire.

The ashes of his elder brother Eric, who had served in the RNAS and RAF during the First World War are also interred in the grave, pictured with Douglas below.

Douglas Ronald Noel TOOTH of 56 Curzon Street, Lindon died on dated stated. Probate Llandudno 2 September 1941 to Gerald Tooth and Jeffery Tooth, Solicitors. £6485 18s 6d.

He was at Radley College near Abingdon from 1926. He then lived at 56, Curzon Street in London, where he worked as an architect's assistant. He had taken off from Little Rissington in Avro Anson Mk 1 L7926 on a training flight and flew into high ground 3 miles North East of Laycock, Wiltshire.
