Derrick Pratt FARNELL Private 4977698, 2/5th Bn. Sherwood Foresters (Notts and Derby Regiment) died between 10 and 27 May 1940 aged 18. Son of William Henry and Mabel Mary Farnell, of Fairfield Buxton, Derbyshire. Commemorated on a family memorial in St Peter's churchyard, Fairfield, Derbyshire, at rest in Oignies Communal Cemetery, France
