HEADSTONE
Denis Patrick JORDAN. Sapper 3669, Royal Engineers. Native of Hythe, Kent enlisted on the 19th September 1899 occupation balloonist. Son of John who was granted a war gratuity on the 6th November 1912. In 1901 he was stationed at the Stanhope and Wellington Lines, Aldershot Hampshire . He was serving with the Royal Engineers Mounted and Imperial Yeomanry. 1911 he was in Malta In 1891 he was with his father and mother Mary Anne. His father was an instructor of Musketry at Fort Sutherland Hythe Kent.
Died 7th October 1912 aged 27. At rest in Pembroke Military Cemetery, Malta. P5/R6/G1

William Youngson DUNNING. Private 6448, Private, 2nd West Yorkshire Regiment. Died 3rd January 1913. He was born at Malton Yorkshire enlisted on the 7th July 1907 occupation labourer. In 1901 he was living with parents Tom and Fanny and siblings at 13 Wentworth Street, Malton, Yorkshire In 1911 aged 26 he was living with his wife Violet Maud aged 19 and daughter Violet at Married Quarters, 29 Winchester Road, Colchester, Essex. At rest in Pembroke Military Cemetery, Malta. P5/R6/G1

James GAITENS. Private 10738, Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders. Died 5th July 1912. He was born at Greenock, Scotland enlisted on the 20th February 1908 occupation riveter son of Michael and Jane At rest in Pembroke Military Cemetery, Malta. P5/R6/G1
