- D669 THOMAS EDWARD BENNETT. Royal Marine PO/21491 on HMS St. Angelo, shore base, Malta. Born 20 January 1899 at Aldershot Hampshire. Enlisted 14 December 1920 aged 21 years 10 months and 24 days, civilian occupation tailor. 1923 at Alverstoke, Hampshire he married Florence Jane Saunders. She later resided at 1 Green Road, Military Road, Deal Kent. Died 6th April 1936 aged 37 years from chronic interstitial nephritis uraemia.
