D645 JOHN BUCKLER. Royal Marine 3292, Pensioner. Born 4 July 1878 at Nuneaton, Warwickshire. Enlisted into the Royal Marine Light Infantry, Special Home Coast Defence as Private 3292 aged 40 years 1 month and 6 days on the 10 August 1918. Civilian occupation, fishmonger. Discharged 11 February 1919 to 142 Divinity Road, Oxford. Died at Royal Naval Hospital Bighi, Malta 21st October 1934 aged 56 years of a carcinoma of the oesophagus.
