This could be a StuG 40 Ausf G, it confused me at first because of the 2 holes on the front of the hull. when the Pz Kpfw III was converted to the StuG ausf G these holes were covered (not sure what they were). It would seem then that this particular StuG ausf G was one of the 173 Pz Kpfw III that were returned to the factory in 1944 for conversion to StuG ausg G and because of the urgency, they didnt bother removing these holes. It clearly has an L/48 7.5cm main Gun.
