Extended Description: This memorial is beside St Edward's the parish church of Cheddleton, Staffordshire and is the entrance gate to the extended churchyard/cemetery. These two names are on the rear of the memorial

WILKES Joseph Edward, Private 14956690, 2nd Cheshire Regiment died 22nd October 1947, aged 20. Son of Joseph Edward & Norah nee Collumbell ofCheddletonand formerly of Chorley. Buried at Tripoli War Cemetery, Libya

BONSALL David Percy, Private 24291631, Royal Pioneer Corps, Killed in a road traffic accident in Northern Ireland 29 March 1975, age 27. Son of Percy & Annie nee Ball. At Rest inCheddleton extended churchyard
