Charles Whiteman THOMAS, Captain, H.M.21st Hussars, only son of Honoratus Leigh Thomas and Sophia Boydell of Bryn Elwy in this parish who died in India 28th June 1867 in his 27th year of his age.
This tablet is erected by his brother Officers in testimony of their regard for him in life, and their sorrow at his early death. He is at rest at Simla, India

This tablet is in St Asaph Cathedral, St Asaph City, Denbughshire
