In 1911 his parent and his siblings were living at 6 Church Place, Paddington Green, Paddington, London. husband of Lucille F nee Dean, retired. Born 28th February 1912 in Paddington, London. Died 8th September 1971 at Rabat, Malta aged 59.

His mother was married as Alice Muggeridge, correct name was Alice Beatrice Muggeridge. She was born 1884 in Paddington to George John and Mary who at the time of her birth were living in a workhouse.

Alfred Watkins joined the Royal Engineers as Sapper 80743 at Aldershot on the 12th March 1915 aged 37 and 89 day, occupation council labourer. He was living with his wife Alice and his children at 23 Campbell Street, Paddington Green, Paddington, London. 9th March 1915 he was discharged from the army. Reason, not likely to become an efficient soldier. Para 392 (iii) K.R. 1912. 5th June 1904 at St Mary's Church, Paddington he married Alice Muggeridge. They had the following children who were all born in Paddington - Edward born 17th January 1906 Alfred born 19th September 1907 Elizabeth born 5th August 1909 Frank Cyril born 18th December 1910 Charles John born 28th February 1912 and Ada born 24th February 1915.
