Charles FRETWELL

Charles FRETWELL. Sergeant 4963932, 33rd Battery, 28th Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment, Royal Artillery. Born 25 November 1899 to John and Elizabeth Fretwell, nee Booth. 1901, residing with his parents at 3 Potters Row, Ilkeston. 1911 residing with his parents and siblings at 17A Prince Street, Ilkeston. He married Frances Charlton in the registration district of Basford in 1924. His wife passed away 1938 aged 38 in the registration district of Shardlow. 1939, now a widower residing with his parents at 26 Coppice Avenue, Ilkeston, occupation, general labourer. Died 23 October 1939 aged 39 years.
