At sea aboard USS Bataan (LHD 5) Dec. 12, 2001 -- A flight deck director aboard USS Bataan gets the CH-53E Super Stallion heavy-lift helicopter in the air as it deploys with U.S. Marines of the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) bound for the war zone. The Bataan Amphibious Ready Group is deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
