Captain, Cecil John Talbot Rhys WINGFIELD. 4th King's Royal Rifle Corps, born July 25th July 1881 and was mortally wounded near Ypres on April 24th, and died in Base Hospital, Boulogne on April 29th 1915. He was the son of Edward Rhys and Edith Caroline nee Wood. He was the husband of Violet Nite nee Poulett whom he married in 1904 in the registration District of St George Hanover Square, London. Another address was found for him and that was the Bachelor's Club, Piccidilly, Middlesex
He is at rest in St Mary's churchyard, Great Barrington, Gloucestershire. This memorial is in St Mary's church.
