- Caroline Graham GREEN. Nursing Sister CANS No 16 Canadian General Hospital, Orpington, Kent and Hospital Ship.
Born 7 February 1891 at St. Thomas, Ontario. Her brother was W J Green of 40 Rosebery Place, St Thomas, Ontario.
Enlisted 2 February 1916 at Toronto, Ontario. She embarked from Canada for overseas on SS Metagama June 1916. Hospitalized for diphtheria at Bromley Convalescent later that year. She was posted at 16th Canadian General Hospital in November 1917, then posted to a hospital ship in Sept 1918. She was hospitalized in Feb 1919 for influenza. Returned to Canada later. She died of Tuberculosis. 4 April 1922 aged 31.

N.B.The Canadian Army Nursing Service (later part of the Canadian Army Medical Corps) used various insignia, though a single definitive "badge" for every member is not clear from the search results. Common insignia included a Canadian Army Medical Corps (CAMC) cap badge worn on a hat and possibly on the collar, especially for officers. Other symbols of service for nurses included shoulder titles that read "CANADA", and they were also entitled to standard campaign medals such as the British War Medal and Victory Medal.
