Bessie Maud HANNA. Sister CAMC.

No 3 Canadian Stationary Hospital, Doullens, France.

Born 24 December 1884 at Wingham, Ontario to Mrs. M. L. Hanna, of Wingham, Ontario. Enlisted 30 January 1916 at Toronto, Ontario posted to No 16 Canadian General Hospital, Orpington, Kent, later transferred to Shorncliffe Camp Hospital, then to La Freport Hospital, France. She contracted diphtheria upon being transferred to the above CCS. After 5 weeks service and her recovery at the Base Isolation Hospital she was transferred to England and later to Canada on the 7 October 1916.

Died at Christie Street Hospital, Toronto, Ontario 5 September 1921 aged 36.

At rest in Wingham Cemetery, Ontario, Canada.
