Bernard GRANVILLE

Extended Description
Here lies interred the body of BERNARD GRANVILLE
who trufted in the Mercy of Almighty God for the Forgivenefs of his Sins through the Merits and Mediation of Jefus Chrift of Mankind.
He was the Son of BERNARD GRANVILLE and great grandfon of Sir BEVIL GRANVILLE who was killed in the civil Wars fighting for KING CHARLES the firft, on LANDSDOWN near Bath in Somerfetfhire.
He died at CALWICH July the 2nd 1775.
This memorial is on the external east wall of St Peter's church, Ellastone, Staffordshire

Sir BEVIL GRANVILLE.Born 23rd March 1594/95 was killed in action the civil wars fighting for King Charles the 1st on Lansdown near Bath Somerset on the 5th July 1643.
He was the son of Bernard and Elizabeth Granvill and Great grandson of Sir Bevil Granville
