Captain 476528 Barry Stanley GRITTEN. Royal Army Ordnance Corps. Killed in the early hours of the 21st June 1973 by explosion whilst clearing a bomb making factory in a Nissen hut near the Lecky Road, Londonderry, Northern Ireland. Born 16th January 1944 and died aged 29. His remains were cremated and his ashes scattered on the grounds of Welbeck College, Loughborough, Leicestershire
This memorial plaque is at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire.
