Lieutenant, 6th Yorkshire Regiment. who after seeing service in Egypt and France was accidentally killed at Prees Heath Camp, near Whitchurch, Shropshire 6th February 1917 ahed 24. He resided at 8, Oriel Place, Cheltenham and was the husband of Mabel E nee Bailey of Mill House, Lower Alstone, Cheltenham.
