2nd Lieutenant, Royal Flying Corps killed in a flying accident while training to serve King & Country 27th January 1918 aged 18. Son of William Edmund and Eliza Mary of 25 Spring Bank, Chesterfield. Commemorated on his parents memorial at Spital Cemetery, Chesterfield and is buried at Grantham Cemetery Lincolnshire
