Boeing B-17G Wee-Willie 42-31333, 323th squadron of 91st bombing group, over Stendal, Germany, after port wing blown off by flak. Only the pilot, Lieutenant Robert E. Fuller, survived. He was witnessed deploying his chute after being blown free of the cockpit. Unfortunately, he was listed KIA, having failed to have been located and seemingly not taken prisoner. 42-31333 was then the oldest G model in the 91st Bomb Group having been in service with the unit since December 1943
