Extended Description
Arthur WHITE. Band Corporal, PUB/745, Royal Marine Light Infantry on HMS Indefatigable. Born 10th July 1887, enlisted into the Royal Marine Band 19th December 1904. Died 5th February 1914 aged 26 of enteric fever and perforation peritonitis. This stone was erected by his shipmates as a token of respect. His brother was informed of his death 6th February 1914 At rest in Plot B Grave 229, Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta.
