Grave visited date not known and a poppy placed on the grave for each soldier. It is pleasing to know that they are not forgotten.

Arthur Percival HARBECK. Private 566 6th Australian Imperial Forces. Son of Fanny Miriam Harbeck and Peter Harbeck, of Lakes Entrance, Victoria, Australia. Died 22nd May 1915. At rest in Pembroke Military Cemetery, Malta. P1/R2/G5
Some notes from his army records.
He joined up on the 17th August 1914 aged 22, occupation sales man. He lived at Cunningham Lane, Gippsland , Victoria, and later at Lakes Entrance. While in action at Gallipoli he received a serious shrapnel wound to his knee on the 14th May 1915. At some stage he was evacuated on a hospital ship to Malta. He was admitted to St Andrews Hospital on the 18th May 1915 and he died on the 18th. (as reported) of a gunshot wound to his head and compound fracture to his head. He was laid to rest in St Andrews Cemetery, now called, Pembroke Military Cemetery on the 24th May 1915.

Alfred WEST. Private 1628 5th Australian Imperial Forces, aged 19 years, died 4th June 1915. The son of William Henry and Sarah Ann West, 9 Chelmsford Street, Kensington, Victoria, Australia. Born at Chiltern, Victoria, Australia. At rest in Pembroke Military Cemetery, Malta. P1/R2/G5

He joined up the 4th December 1914 aged 19 occupation sleeper cutter. He lived at 9 Chelmsford Street with his parents. He embarked from Melbourne for the M.E.F on H.M.A.T A54 Runic. Whilst in action at Gallipoli he was shot and seriously wounded in the abdomen and right hip on the 7th February 1915 (as recorded). He was evacuated from Gallipoli and admitted into St Andrews Hospital, Malta on the 18th May 1915 where he died of his wounds on the 4th June 1915. He was laid to rest in St Andrews Cemetery, Malta now called Pembroke Military Cemetery, Malta.
