Born 08 February 1856 at St Teath, Cornwall to John and Mary Lobb.
1861, with his parents and siblings at Trewithen, Cornwall
1871 in the Royal Navy as Boy 2nd Class (under 18) on 2nd Class Training Ship, Impregnable at Devenport, dockyard, Plymouth
1881 on Gunboat, Mosquito in China as Captain Hold.
Enlisted 19 November 1884. now aged 18 years)
He married Euphemia Emily Wallis Franklin in the r/d of St George Hanover Square, London.
19 March 1888 with his wife and daughter residing at 96 Orbell Street, Battersea, occupation, Ship’s Corporal
Died 28 December 1898 in Bighi Naval Hospital, Kalkara, Malta from a shot wound to the abdomen, self inflicted.
