Alfred Arthur STIRLAND. Leading Sick Berth Attendant P/MX56742 Royal Navy on HMS Skate. Born 1920 to Arthur and Minnie Stirland, nee Towle. Husband of Phyllis Stirland, nee Taylor of Ilkeston. Married 1940 at Gosport, Hampshire. Died 2 March 1945 aged 25 years.

At rest in Park Cemetery, Ilkeston, Derbyshire.
