Born 7 January 1920 at Derbyshire to Joseph and Elizabeth Martha, nee Wheatley. 1939 residing with his parents and siblings at 16 May Street, Ilkeston. Occupation, press operator in a wire factory. Died 27 March 1945 aged 25 years at Ilkeston.
