Airey Middleton Sheffield NEAVE. DSO. OBE. MC. TD. MP.
23 January 1916 – 30 March 1979.
Taken prisoner of war between May 1940 and May 1941 and interred in Colditz Castle where he successfully escaped dress as a German Officer.
No Military Cross citation found in the London Gazette.
