I have had the same problem. The other day I was cutting away some branches of an rhododendron bush only to be approached by two cemetery workers asking what I was doing, which was quite obvious. When I told them that there was a war grave in there, not interested, no help, just walked away.
Its a shame they did not help you sort it out. Its a small thing to do for that particular soldiers sacrifice. keep up the great work you do mate, I really do appreciate and enjoy the pics you post.
