Paul Brian Muirhead. Lance Corporal 25127170. Fatally injured in a Taliban attack on base on 01 September, died in Oman hospital 06 September 2006 aged 28.

David Gordon Dalzell. Ranger 30111042. Accidentally shot by a colleague who was cleaning a rifle Nad Ali Helmand 04 February 2011 aged 20. That was a common occurrence in Northern Ireland

David Patton. Captain 565189 Parachute Regiment, formerly WO1 24692798 Royal Irish Rangers.
Killed in action by the Taliban in Afghanistan 27 June 2006 aged 38. At his funeral six men for the 1st Royal Irish Regiment carried his coffin into Coleraine Baptist Church, County Antrim, Northern Ireland
