Shows Armored Personnel Carrier and Jeep of the 4th Battalion, 18th Infantry Regiment of the U.S. Army's Berlin Brigade passing through a Berlin-Zehlendorf residential street intersection under the eyes of a soldier from Headquarters Company of that unit. Alerts occurred monthly as a training exercise, but occasionally additional alerts signaled the receipt of intelligence information on Warsaw Pact maneuvers around the isolated city.
